Background:
The idea behind the test, which originated from our developer Sergey, was that for a user who is able to customise their invite message, it is more likely that:
The hypothetical reason as to why this would happen was that a more familiar language that friends use between themselves and that would be reflected in the custom message, would look more trustworthy as opposed to default copy displayed by Sweatcoin in the invites.
Solution
The solution was a very quick prototype done in a day, for the reason that we had very little time for development and so the feature had to be very easy to code. As a result, several concessions were made, to the slight detriment of user experience, but such that would allow us to still detect signal whether or not the ability of users to customize their invite message increases their k-factor.
